Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress, was born. While waiting tables, Lefevre was spotted by one of the Canadian film director who she then helped the hopeful actress find her first film role. Lefevre then moved from Canada to Los Angeles, where she earned a role in the programme What About Brian (2006). In the time that Lefevre was employed at the Montreal sushi restaurant in her teen years the regular patron heard about her desire to become an actor. He put her in touch with an acting director. The result was an Canadian TV sitcom. Her appearances on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to be the main character in David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of the BBC hit Life on Mars (2009). Lefevre was raised in Montreal with her dad's French family, however she was raised in English. The most prominent role she played was Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight adaptation. The novel is the very first book in an ongoing series of popular young vampires.
