Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. At first she began as an assistant in photography. Then her work changed towards modeling and directing. She was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising young actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. After only three movies she was deemed as the top female performer in box office history. Her handprints as well as her signature were inscribed at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
